Snowed In

On Sunday, Larry and I went to church at 9:00 am. When we were in the nursery, we looked out the window and what did we see - it was snowing. The nursery kids and Larry watched the snow fall. They were so excited about it. When we left church by 12:00 pm, it had already snowed around 2 to 3 inches. It continued all day and night. By morning we had 20 or so inches!!! All the roads were closed and the wind was blowing. Larry woke up at 7:00am and began to plow the roads so we could get out and also get to the cows and feed them. Larry thought it would be fun to make a little hill in our yard for grandchildren to slide down. He stayed outside plowing until 7:00 pm. 12 hours of plowing!!! What a good man!!

The next day after preschool, Collin and his dad had fun sledding down the hill. I don’t care for snow but we are thankful for the moisture that we needed so much. Plus, it was fun to see the kids get so excited.

Eric and Collin making stairs up the hill and then Collin going down

Collin was stuck up to his chin and so dad had to shoveled out to him

the snow was not good for making a snowman but

Collin could make a snow angel.

How fun! I wish I could have been there to play too. Larry is such a kind, generous person. Thanks for plowing us out too!
